Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a CT Technologist II to perform routine to complex diagnostic CT procedures, including high-difficulty exams, while ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. You will mentor CT Technologist I and students, collaborating with physicians to support diagnostic accuracy and care.

Responsibilities include maintaining ALARA standards, participating in safety initiatives, and providing clear patient and family instructions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program approved by credentialing body.
• Minimum of three years CT technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• CMRT, ARRT-R, CNMT, ARRT-THR, ARRT-CT credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures including common and special exams.
• Provide direct assistance to physicians during CT procedures.
• Maintain imaging quality and patient safety following ALARA.
• Mentor CT Technologist I and students.
• Document procedures and charge entries accurately.
