Job summary

Parkhouse Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a Security professional to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff in Royersford, PA. You will monitor facilities, respond to emergencies, and uphold security protocols within our caring setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a year of security experience if possible, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while remaining vigilant and physically capable of patrolling the premises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a security or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require walking, standing, or climbing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the facility grounds and buildings to prevent and detect unauthorized entry or activity.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
• Conduct regular checks on secure areas, including locked doors, storage rooms, and sensitive equipment.
• Ensure that all security protocols and procedures are followed correctly and consistently.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and responses.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our facility's layout, including areas of high security concern.
