Job summary

Redwood Private Security is seeking an on-call Security Officer (Unarmed) to protect assigned facilities. The position follows Wed-Sun, 2:00pm-10:30pm, with duties including patrols, post orders, and responding to incidents.

The role requires legal work eligibility in the United States, a CA guard card, a CA driver’s license if driving, and excellent communication. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned facilities and maintain security per Post Orders.
• Occasionally staff office/lobby desk positions.
• Communicate professionally with staff, vendors and city personnel.
• Respond to emergencies including fires and property damage.
• Submit incident reports and upkeep logs via mobile app.
• Work under supervision of Site Supervisor/Client Manager.
• Maintain consistent performance and professional demeanor.

Job Description

Reports to Quality Control Manager and/ or Client Manager

• Vehicle Patrol assigned facilities and maintain general security as described in Post Orders.
• May be assigned to an office/ lobby desk position at some facilities.
• Demonstrate professional communications with co-workers, vendors and city staff.
• Respond to emergency calls including fire and damage to property.
• Respond to security related complaints and ensure proper documentation is completed as per policy.
• Generate and submit electronic Incident Reports, parking warnings, and Maintenance reports using a mobile application.
• Work under general supervision of Site Supervisor, Quality Control Manager, and/or Client Manager.
• Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• U.S. High School graduate or equivalent.
• Possess a valid CA Driver's License with clean DMV History (for driving positions)
• Possess and maintain a valid CA Guard Registration (guard card)
• Have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (fluency in other languages a plus)
• Ability to read, write and understand written orders, policies, procedures, and how to apply them.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and takes initiative while carrying out duties.
