Job summary

Dunbar Security Solutions is seeking a dependable Security Officer to provide on-call coverage. Officers patrol outdoor areas, stay alert to unusual activity, and report observations to supervisors. Additional hours may become available based on operational needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver’s license, demonstrate strong observation and customer-service skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team across 2nd- and 3rd-shift assignments.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned outdoor areas on foot, by golf cart, and in company vehicles as directed.
• Observe property conditions and identify suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, or safety concerns.
• Maintain an active, visible presence throughout assigned areas.
• Record and report incidents, unusual activity, and hazards promptly.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Assist individuals with questions in a courteous, professional manner.
• Explain property procedures and expectations clearly.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to support consistent coverage.
• Follow assigned instructions and established procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
