Job summary

United Security Services, Inc. is seeking security personnel for on-call, part-time work in Portland, OR. Officers will patrol buildings, greet clients, and maintain a high level of customer service in a hospitality-focused security environment.

Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour with opportunities for advancement. Must hold active Oregon or Washington security licensure and be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Oregon or Washington state security license/certificate.
• Exceptional customer service skills and excellent judgement.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Be an ambassador for the client and greet employees, guests, and customers.
• Availability and flexibility to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any work shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol in all areas of the buildings and exterior.
• Respond to incidents on-site and emergencies.
• Handle alarms and safety equipment inspections.
• Emergency response and medical response procedures.
• Stand and walk for 8 hours and work independently or with a partner.
