Job summary

Metro One Security in Portland, OR is seeking part-time unarmed security professionals to help provide a safe shopping and working environment for a national retail client. You will greet customers, monitor activity, report on site conditions, and respond quickly to incidents.

Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, be legally eligible to work in the United States, hold an Oregon DPSST Unarmed Professional license, and be able to stand for shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Oregon DPSST Unarmed Professional license is REQUIRED.
• Solid/stable work history.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Drug testing and background screening required.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while greeting and verifying customers’ purchases.
• Observe, survey, and report on activity at the assigned location while standing post.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
