Qualifications

• Skilled trades across building maintenance including painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings and follow oral instructions.
• Strong communication with colleagues and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, structural and plumbing systems.
• Paint walls, woodwork and refinishing; install/repair carpet and perform custodial tasks.
• Operate and maintain campus mechanical systems and related equipment.
• Assist with inventory, budgeting, and procurement as needed.
• Work with blueprints and follow safety procedures; supervise temporary staff when required.
• Maintain equipment warranties and safety checks across campus.
