Job summary

Chartwells School Dining Services K12 is hiring on-call substitute food service workers for Bridgewater-Raynham School District at 166 Mount Prospect Street. Shifts run during school days from 9:15 am to 1:30 pm, with pay at $15.00 per hour.

This on-call position offers referrals and internal bonuses. Responsibilities include preparing, serving and presenting food, following safety standards, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting customers in a friendly manner.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Moves pans, kettles and trays of food between stations, stove and refrigerator while maintaining safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adheres to all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
