Compass Group USA’s Chartwells K-12 division is hiring an on-call Food Service Worker for Seekonk Schools in Seekonk, MA. Schedule is on-call; hours are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Prior kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety and inventory control procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
