Job summary

GDI Services Inc is seeking an On-Call Custodian Response Team Member to support Detroit Public Schools in Detroit, MI. This part-time, on-site role involves working at multiple DPS locations based on daily call-offs and operational needs.

You will perform cleaning tasks, refill dispensers and supplies, and maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Reliable transportation and regular attendance are essential, with pre-employment and site-access requirements to complete.

Qualifications

• Attendance is essential.
• Experience cleaning school buildings is a plus.

• Timekeeping using a phone-based system.

Responsibilities

• Complete work within budgeted time (8 hours).
• Cleaning of a school building.
• Refill dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, hand sanitizer.
• Cleaning restrooms, break-rooms, dusting and trash removal.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuum.
