Job summary

Storm Lake Community School District is seeking a Substitute Custodian to perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings under supervision. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom sanitation, and assisting with event setup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cleaning/maintenance desirable.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift/light equipment.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds.
• Sweep, mop, wax floors, and clean restrooms, offices and classrooms.
• Assist in setup for meetings and events.
• Receive deliveries and stock supplies; transport materials as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
