Job summary

Nogales Unified School District #1 is seeking an on-call custodian (as needed) to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school facility. The position supports daily operations by cleaning classrooms, offices, gym and restrooms and by setting up spaces for meetings and events.

Starting date is immediate; the role is part-time with a wage of $15 per hour. Experience not required; Arizona driver’s license and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned school facilities (classrooms, offices, gym, restrooms) for a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
• Maintains supplies and equipment to ensure availability of items required to maintain facilities.
• Prepares facility for daily operations (opening gates, building access, etc.) for safety and usability.
• Responds to immediate safety and operational concerns to resolve issues.
• Secures facilities and grounds to minimize damage and liability.
