Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) to provide timely, compassionate care to sexual assault victims. Candidates should hold a Texas RN license and preferably a BSN. SANE certification or progress toward it within 6 months, and TNCC certification within 6 months are required

Qualifications

• RN license (Texas) is required.
• SANE certification or progress toward it within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC certification or completion within 6 months of hire.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to sexual assault victims.
• Perform medical-forensic exams, pregnancy prophylaxis, STI prevention, documentation, and referrals for follow-up and legal proceedings.

Education

RN license (Texas)

SANE certification (Texas AG) or in-progress
