Job summary

Ho-Chunk Inc. Management Services (HCIMS) is seeking a part-time on-call Role Player based at Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA, to support training events and adapt to various trainee responses.

The role requires maintaining character, adhering to safety rules, and engaging with students during complex scenarios. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of Role Player experience or related acting experience, and must be able to work in diverse environments, including outdoor field training

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Role Player preferred.
• Experience in improvisational or semi-scripted acting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Always adheres to training standards and operates within the assigned training lane.
• Participates in practical exercises and Field Training Exercises in rural and urban environments.
• Performs in urban/mounted operations training and may be shot at using blank-firing weapons.
• Role players may be required to “die in place” or be captured after a simulated firefight.
• Engages students appropriately and adjusts responses based on trainee performance.
• Maintains character and follows the scenario flow and safety rules.
