Kitsap Mental Health Services in Bremerton, WA is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse – RN to provide on-call nursing care in 24/7 Services units. Hiring range is $42.87-$54.66 per hour with generous shift differentials up to +$7.00 per hour and a sign‑on bonus.

The role emphasizes nursing assessments, medication administration, care planning, and discharge support. On-call coverage across all 24‑Hour Services units is required, with a minimum of 2 shifts per month.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Active Washington RN license.
• Per diem/on-call nursing role.
• Preferred: experience with mental illness and working with children/families.

Aufgaben

• Engage with team members and collaborate with shift supervisors to create and sustain a positive and safe working environment.
• Examine and assess clients upon admission to determine medical stability for care within the unit scope.
• Obtain admission and provider orders within one hour of admit, after all pertinent information is collected.
• Obtain seclusion/restraint orders per WAC 246-337-110.
• Document client care, medication, and treatment administration; monitor and document responses and progress.
• Write and implement nursing care plans upon admit; review every 24 hours; collaborate to set pertinent goals.
• Administer medications and treatments safely; organize medications as directed; dispose of medications per protocol; count and document controlled meds per shift.
• Participate in discharge planning and assist in discharge medications as needed.
• Provide flexible nursing coverage; rotate across all units of 24-Hour Services.
