Job summary

Klingbeil Capital Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality maintenance and service to residents. You will handle preventative maintenance, respond to repair requests, and prepare vacant units for turnover, while maintaining building safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• An HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Showing care and concern for residents through service ticket resolution and preventive maintenance.
• Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Preserving the building and safety of the community through general upkeep and grounds maintenance.
• Providing residents with outstanding customer service.
• Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after hour emergencies.
