Job summary

Continuum Hospice is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Boston area, providing compassionate hospice care to patients and their families during critical moments. Weekend night coverage from 4:30 pm to 8 am.

Your responsibilities include responsive patient care, empathetic assessments, thorough documentation, and support for families navigating end-of-life care. We offer comprehensive benefits and a path for growth within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum one year experience as an RN in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice exp a plus.
• Must be computer proficient with EMR and typing.
• CPR certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Be the Lifeline: Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine, with compassionate support.
• Provide empathetic assessments of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in home visits and agency records.
• Support families by sharing knowledge and guiding care for terminally ill loved ones.

Overview

Continuum Hospice is currently seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.

Schedule: Weekend Nights 4:30 pm - 8 am

Territory: Boston, South Shore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

$80,000 - $95,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
