The PRN RN provides professional nursing care and clinical support based on facility needs and scheduled availability. The RN may work across various shifts and is expected to adapt quickly to the needs of the residents, nursing team, and facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, clinically confident, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing team.
The RN must be able to move throughout the facility and perform the physical requirements associated with resident care, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and assisting with resident mobility as required. The position involves working in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to infectious materials, bodily fluids, cleaning agents, medical equipment, and other workplace hazards. Appropriate safety and infection-control practices must be followed at all times.
