Job summary

Community LIFE in McKeesport, PA is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team. This role provides after-hours and weekend care to participants in their homes, with full-time pay for working every other week.

You will assess illnesses, deliver nursing interventions, educate families, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly populations.
• Valid PA driver's license.
• Experience in patient and caregiver education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours nursing care and support to older adult participants
• Assess and manage episodic illnesses in collaboration with the on-call provider
• Deliver prescribed treatments and nursing interventions
• Educate participants and caregivers on care plans and health management

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team. This unique role offers full-time pay for working every other week, providing after-hours and weekend care and support to our participants in their homes.

Schedule

OvernightWeekdays: On-Call from 3:30 PM – 8:30 AM (Monday–Friday) EVERY OTHER WEEK ONLY

Location:McKeesport service area
