Job summary

Ascend Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time on-call role in Northern Utah (Logan & Brigham areas). You will cover after-hours triage, nursing visits, and home-based care, working a structured on-call schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekend coverage.

The ideal candidate has an active Utah RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience (home health or hospice preferred), and strong assessment and communication skills.

Part-Time On-Call RN – Home Health & Hospice

Location: Northern Utah (Logan & Brigham areas)
Schedule: On-call 1 week per month - Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–9:00 AM, and 24 hours on Saturday & Sunday

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health & Hospice team in a part-time on-call role.

Position Overview

As an On-Call RN, you will provide after-hours triage, nursing visits, and support to patients and families in their homes. You'll collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and timely response to patient needs during evenings, nights, and weekends.

Schedule

• On-call 1 week per month

  • Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 AM

  • Saturday & Sunday: 24-hour coverage each day

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing visits for urgent needs, admissions, or symptom management after hours.
