Houston Methodist is seeking a Radiation Therapist to assist in planning, delivering and monitoring radiation therapy for patients. The role supports the treatment team, communicates with physicians and staff, and ensures safety and high-quality care in line with ARRT guidelines.

Responsibilities include simulation, immobilization setup, documenting procedures and charges, and providing education to patients and families. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff.
• Proficiency in English for safety and patient care communication.
• Demonstrates customer service orientation and positive language use.

Responsabilités

• Deliver planned radiation therapy accurately and safely as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Perform simulation operations and prepare immobilization/positioning devices.
• Assess patient condition daily and refer to appropriate resources as needed.
• Document procedures, charges and ensure radiation safety practices are followed.
