Stars Behavioral Health Group is seeking an LVN/LPT for the MLK/Mark Ridley Behavioral Health program in Los Angeles. Position offers on-call per diem work with starting compensation of $32.00–$34.00 per hour.

The role provides direct client care, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team within a 16-bed residential facility offering intensive psychiatric treatment.

Formación

• Active, valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification from an approved agency (e.g., American Red Cross).
• One year of full-time equivalent experience in a program serving individuals with mental disabilities OR willingness to complete 20 hours of regulatory on-the-job training within the first year.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications, including injections.
• Engages clients and families to assess health status and plan care.
• Develops and implements nursing care plans aligned with psychiatric treatment.
