Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our properties safe, functional, and welcoming in the San Diego area. You will perform daily repairs, prep vacant units, maintain tools and inventory, and respond to service requests on a on-call basis.

This role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and strong communication with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge required.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Effective communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of property and vacant unit prep.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniforms.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and 24-hour service responses.
