Job summary

Acelero Learning Wisconsin - Green Street Center is seeking a Substitute Preschool Teacher to join our on-site team this Fall 2026. This on-call, part-time role supports the classroom, helps nurture social-emotional development, and collaborates with families in a Head Start environment.

You'll follow health, safety, and nutrition policies, assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom, and engage families to strengthen the child’s learning journey.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Substitute Certification preferred or Associate/Bachelor's degree beneficial.
• Commitment and passion to work with children and families.
• Effective communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom.
• Support the social and emotional development of children using positive guidance approaches.
• Encourage involvement of families in the Head Start program and build relationships with families.
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies related to health, safety, nutrition, and center operations.
