Pembina Pipeline U.S. is hiring an Operations Technician in New Ulm, Minnesota. This role supports safe and reliable transportation of products through inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities at a Cochin Pipeline site based near Wheaton, MN.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and compliance with company procedures, with on-call rotations and potential overnight travel. A valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ work experience, preferably in energy industry.
• Hands-on experience with various computer applications.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work under limited supervision.
• Team-oriented with ability to interface with Field, Engineering, and Technical Support personnel.
• Ability to perform safe and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and Life Saving Rules; ensure compliance and risk identification.
• Assist pump station and meter station operations, and support other trades as needed.
• Perform routine pipeline operations and maintenance; troubleshoot failures and repair equipment.
• Locate and mark facilities per Damage Prevention Program.
• Ensure maintenance and operations duties comply with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide oversight during excavation near pipeline facilities.
• Participate in 7-day on-call rotation; occasional overnight travel.
• Wear PPE as required; communicate safety issues to management.
• Work outdoors and participate in an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
