Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of basic Curriculum for Therapeutic Massage from an accredited School of Massage Therapy.
• Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board, required.
• Preferred certifications in Neuromuscular and Myofascial Massage Therapy or Newborn Massage Therapy/Infant Massage.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pediatric and select adult patients for massage therapy and implement programs to meet clinical needs.
• Administer massage therapy to promote relaxation and improve pulmonary function; modify plans as needed.
• Document evaluation results, patient progress, and treatment plans; educate patients and families.
