On-Call / Part Time Auto Parts Delivery Driver

Location: Martinsburg, WV

Part Time / On-call: Monday – Saturday hours; day shift; flexible schedule based on customer needs.

Hours will vary per week, typically 4-20 hours. Compensation: $18.00/hour.

**Safety Sensitive Position**. Must have an excellent driving record.

Summary:

Perform various functions including packaging and delivering auto parts to customers.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
• Previous recycling or metals experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules and manuals in English. Valid driver’s license required.
• Physical demands include exerting up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, and 25 lbs frequently. Requires standing or walking for six or more hours, with occasional sitting, stooping, and bending. Must be able to respond to dangerous situations.
• Work environment is mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sort, lift, and prepare materials for delivery.
• Deliver auto parts to customers as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by organizing work areas and keeping the vehicle clean and safe.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
