Wheeler Clinic Inc is looking for an Overnight Clinician to provide crisis intervention and stabilization services for youth. This full-time remote position requires a relevant doctoral or master's degree and applicable licensure, offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

The Overnight Clinician provides crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services, including clinical and case management, for children from birth through age 17. The clinician will respond in the community to provide crisis intervention services and safety planning. They may work with emergency departments, inpatient units, and congregate care providers to identify and coordinate crisis and diversionary planning for high-needs youth, aiming to prevent multiple admissions and promote the use of MCIS for intensive community-based planning.
This is a remote position; however, the clinician must go into the community catchment area on an on-call basis.
This is a full-time, overnight, on-call position. Hours will vary and will be discussed during the interview.
A doctoral degree in Psychology or a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling is required.
Must hold one of the following credentials to start employment: LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC, or be a licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in Connecticut. A valid driver’s license is required, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely in the community based on program needs.
