Job summary

NoHat Staffing is currently hiring General Laborers for temporary and on‑call assignments in the City of Denton. This role involves physically demanding outdoor work, often on short notice, and requires reliability and the ability to follow instructions from City supervisors.

Duties include general labor, debris removal, landscaping assistance, irrigation support, painting, and material handling. The position is on-site and pays $16.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding work outdoors.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor and maintenance support.
• Pick up debris, yard waste and bulky items.
• Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Assist with irrigation and general maintenance work.
• Perform painting and cleanup.
• Load, unload, carry, push and pull materials.
• Use basic hand tools and small equipment as directed.
• Follow instructions from City supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
