Job summary

NoHat Staffing is currently hiring General Laborers for temporary and on‑call assignments in the City of Denton. This role involves physically demanding outdoor work, often on short notice, and requires reliability and the ability to follow instructions from City supervisors.

Duties include general labor, debris removal, landscaping assistance, irrigation support, painting, and material handling. The position is on-site and pays $16.00 to $22.00 per hour.

• Perform general labor and maintenance support
• Pick up debris, yard waste and bulky items
• Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Assist with irrigation and general maintenance work
• Perform painting and cleanup
• Load, unload, carry, push and pull materials
• Use basic hand tools and small equipment as directed
• Follow instructions from City supervisors

• Perform other general labor duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and climb as required
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Able to perform physically demanding work
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations
• Willingness to complete required background and drug screening
• Must be available for short-notice assignments
• Must be willing to work weekends when assignments require

Pay:$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
