Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking an on-call Digital Radiologic Technician for Orthopedics in NE Portland and SW Beaverton. You will perform high-quality diagnostic X‑rays with strong attention to radiation safety and patient care in a busy orthopedic setting.

Two clinic locations, on-call hours, and a focus on teamwork and excellent patient service define this role. Licensure in Oregon and CPR/BLS are required, with Epic EMR experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a certified Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be licensed in the State of Oregon or license-eligible.
• Minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic imaging; digital radiography preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
• EMR experience preferred; Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providers high-quality digital X‑rays per physicians’ orders and TOC protocols.
• Observes radiation safety per ALARA and standard precautions.
• Reviews paperwork for completeness; requests pertinent studies.
• Operates PACS, scans orders into the system for radiologist review.
• Explains exam procedures and positions patient; assists physician with imaging.
• Maintains patient safety and monitors for distress; notifies management of issues.
• Assists in CT/MRI as needed and helps with equipment, supplies, and patient positioning.
