Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare offers locum tenens opportunities across the United States, including Michigan. We arrange 24-hour call shifts from 7 am to 7 am in orthopaedics and connect you with hospitals and clinics.

Assignments cover ED orthopaedic calls, fractures, sports injuries, arthroscopy, and total joint procedures, with inpatient and outpatient settings. Travel and housing are prepaid, and malpractice insurance is provided.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour call shifts -- 7 am to 7 am
• Average 1 - 2 patients seen per call shift
• Emergency Department orthopaedic call coverage only
• Fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedic cases
• Arthroscopy and total joint replacement skills required
• Joint revision or repair -- shoulder, hip, and knee required
• Phone consults: 0 - 5 per 24-hour shift
• Both inpatient and outpatient practice setting required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
