Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks an experienced orthopedic physician to provide 24-hour call coverage in Michigan. The clinician will handle fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedics, excluding spine cases, with rapid beeper response and emphasis on arthroscopy and total joint procedures.

Responsibilities include joint revisions/repairs (hip, knee, shoulder), leave coverage, and timely entry of assignment details in our online portal.

Qualifications

• Orthopaedic surgeon with arthroscopy and joint replacement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour orthopedic call coverage.
• Manage fractures, sports injuries and general orthopaedics cases.
• No spine cases; focus on bread-and-butter orthopaedic procedures.
• Maintain 20-minute call response time via beeper.
• Perform joint revisions or repairs of hip, knee, and shoulder.
• Coordinate leave coverage as needed.
• Enter assignment details and time entries via online portal.
