Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawaii is seeking an On-Call Health Tech (Oral Health) to support school-based oral health screenings and sealant events in Honolulu. Under clinical supervision, you will assist with data entry, consent distribution, health education and patient care alongside dental staff.

This part-time, on-site role requires CPR/BLS, HIPAA/FERPA familiarity, and strong communication. You will help with event setup, maintain confidentiality, and support emergency response while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in health-related field or equivalent experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid or BLS certification.
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distribute consent packets and dental supplies to schools.
• Participate in Oral Health Events including assessments and sealants.
• Assist with training HIDOE and Charter HT on school visits.
• Provide oral health education to students.
• Scan and upload health data into electronic records.
• Maintain confidentiality of health information.
• Provide first aid and emergency care with school staff.
• Help prevent infectious disease transmission and maintain clinic space.
• Comply with state, federal, UHP, DOE, and charter school policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
