Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Obstetrics/Gynecology physician in Modesto, CA. This assignment is 13 weeks long with 24-hour on-call coverage and a standard 5, 24-hour shift schedule.

Applicants must possess an MD or DO, be board-certified in OB/GYN, have a California medical license, and bring obstetrics experience. Pay is $180–$190 per hour; Aya Locums provides credentialing, travel and lodging support, and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• ABOG or AOA board certification in OB/GYN.
• California medical license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across life stages.
• Perform gynecologic exams, ultrasounds and related procedures.
• Conduct obstetric and gynecologic surgeries as scope allows.
• Diagnose and treat women's health conditions and counsel on planning.
• Collaborate with care teams and maintain complete medical records.
• Stay current with OB/GYN advances through education.
