Qualifications

• Must have current Iowa RN or LPN license and be in good standing.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Coordinates, oversees, and provides resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments per physician orders; monitors effectiveness.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment per policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in resident condition and follows up as necessary.
