Job summary

Bristol Hospice Llc seeks compassionate Registered Nurses to serve as Warriors of the Night, providing after-hours hospice care, visits, and admissions in the Lake, Porter, LaPorte area and surrounding regions. You will work in an autonomous, high‑empathy role during evenings, nights and weekends, fulfilling critical patient needs.

The position requires current Indiana RN licensure, ability to travel within the service area and flexibility to cover 7 on/7 off shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with hospice knowledge.
• Current licensure in good standing with the state.
• Able to travel within Bristol Hospice Service Area.

Responsibilities

• Perform after-hours and weekend visits and admissions as needed.
• Follow up on phone calls and route to RN Supervisor/Manager or Case Manager as appropriate.
• Dispatch field staff to patient residences promptly.
• Refill prescriptions, order supplies and DME as needed.
• Document calls and outcomes in the software system.
• Receive start‑of‑shift reports and give end‑of‑shift reports per location workflow.
