Job summary

Jovie is seeking a Back-up Nanny to care for children in-home with a flexible, on-call schedule. You will work with multiple families and provide safe, age-appropriate activities.

The role does not require transporting children and involves light cleanup after activities. Candidates must be 18+, have experience with children (infant experience preferred), reliable transportation, and availability for 3+ weekdays in 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various homes in the area.
• Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6-8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
• Must be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home, but no transport duties.
• Minimal household duties beyond cleanup after activities or meals.
• Engage children with safety-focused, age-appropriate activities.
• Support families needing care for children from infants to toddlers, with high demand under 2 years.
