Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as Substitute Associate Judge reporting to the Presiding Judge.
• Judge cases involving Class C misdemeanors and act as magistrate for defendants arrested by local law enforcement.
• Handle trial sessions, pretrial sessions, civil parking hearings, and other court hearings; advise defendants of charges, rights, and rulings; review documents and determine judgments and fines.
