Chamberlin + Associates is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the community’s physical condition and operations. You will manage day-to-day work orders, unit turns, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance across building systems, delivering a high-quality resident experience.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, a service mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall and carpentry.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• On-call after-hours emergency maintenance on a rotating basis.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders promptly per company standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including after hours on a rotating basis.
• Assist with unit inspections and move‑in/move‑out repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Keep pools, mechanical rooms, and common areas clean and safe.
• Inspect properties for maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support curb appeal and property upkeep.
• Prepare rent-ready units on schedule for move-ins.
• Assist with capital improvements as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain tools and shop organization; follow safety policies.
• Communicate with residents professionally and provide excellent service.
• Work as a team to meet goals and deadlines.
