Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provision of direct patient care under supervision.
• Perform routine patient care and support tasks as directed by licensed staff.
• Assist physicians and other health care professionals during procedures.
• Perform routine clerical tasks (appointments, chart management, calls).
• Prepare and administer medications per physician orders and Kaiser Permanente guidelines.
• Support infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
• Maintain test result tracking and follow-up systems.
• Document patient information and responses, ensuring confidentiality.
• Maintain courteous relations with patients, staff and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as directed.
