Job summary

New England Gypsum Supply, Inc. - Milford is seeking a CDL Driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle and deliver building materials to commercial and residential sites in Milford, CT. You will load/unload, maintain safety, and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid CDL, Class B with Class A preferred, a clear MVR, and knowledge of DOT regulations. You can work independently or as part of a team, and the base hourly wage ranges from $27.07 to $34.42.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Core competencies: trust, integrity and servant leadership.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload at sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned area while prioritizing safety and customer service.
• Maintain records required for regulatory compliance.
• Report accidents and handle heavy lifting (100+ lbs).
