The Whitley in Buckhead, Atlanta, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, is seeking an on-call esthetician to deliver facial and waxing services to guests and members of the Spa.

You will review client intake, select treatments, perform services, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional boundaries while keeping the treatment room clean and organized. Benefits include dining, parking, spa discounts, tuition assistance and more.

Qualifications

• Current state cosmetology or Esthetician’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in esthetics.
• In-depth knowledge of esthetic industry techniques, equipment, services, and products.
• Confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Good dexterity and manual skills.
• Ability to work with professional boundaries and settings.

No**Overview**Responsible for performing all esthetic services (including all facials and waxing services) for guests and members of the Spa. Responsible for communicating and transcribing all information regarding guest medical history, services performed, skin analysis and product recommendations into the Spa Computer System.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Greet guests and members in a professional, friendly manner.* Select the appropriate spa treatments based on the client’s needs after reviewing the client intake form with each guest.* Perform spa treatments within the scope of training and utilizing draping protocols.* Complete accurate and legible client intake notes.* Create an excellent experience for guests and members through a therapeutic touch and friendly attitude.* Promote the health and wellness benefits of spa treatments specific to each client and recommend frequency of services.* Safeguard client information and confidentiality.* Execute professional boundaries and do not engage in dual relationships with clients.* Maintain a professional clean appearance of self and clinic by wearing a clean and pressed uniform, following the table dressing and draping protocols, and keeping the therapy room clean.* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.* Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.**Qualifications and Skills*** Current state cosmetology or Esthetician’s license.* High school diploma or equivalent.* Minimum of two years’ experience in esthetics.* In-depth knowledge of the latest esthetic industry techniques, equipment, services, and products.* Willing to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.* Customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management, fellow therapists, and sales staff.* Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push carts up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.* Good dexterity in fingers, wrists, and hands with or without reasonable accommodation.* Ability to stand and move throughout spa and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
