Job summary

PSC Group is seeking an On-Call Dock Operator to support safe, efficient transfer operations at the waterfront. This outdoor, hands-on role requires responsibility as the lead at the dock and involves moving oil products and chemicals to and from barges or ships.

You will maintain dock logs, operate cranes and valves, and follow written procedures while staying prepared for a 24-hour on-call schedule with 6 days on and 3 days off. PSC Group offers stability, training, and advancement potential.

Qualifications

• On-call availability and ability to respond to incidents at any time.
• Fluent English communication (speaking, reading, writing).
• Military experience is a plus for procedural discipline.

Responsibilities

• Meet with vessel PIC and coordinate with facility personnel.
• Maintain detailed dock logs for chronological event records.
• Operate crane, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical equipment, and valves.
• Understand facility piping to transfer correct product.
• Gauge barge and retrieve product samples from vessels.
• Perform any other duties to complete the job.
