Job summary

Oakmont of Fresno is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Janitor for on-call coverage. Responsibilities include basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, assisting with apartment turnovers, and maintaining grounds and common areas.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in building maintenance or related fields, a high school diploma, and strong customer-service skills to support residents and families.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months or more in building maintenance, housekeeping, or related upkeep roles.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel or similar MS Office programs.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical plant including interior/exterior common areas and resident units.
• Assist with apartment turnovers (painting, carpet cleaning, etc.).
• Maintain grounds, pool and spa as applicable.
• Ensure a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation with staff across departments.
