USA TODAY Co., Inc. in Peoria, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect and repair production equipment and building HVAC systems. You will troubleshoot live production and respond to issues on a 24/7 on-call basis.

This role requires electrical/electronic experience, ability to read schematics, welding and plumbing skills preferred, plus strong mechanical ability and basic computer skills. Shift options include 2nd and/or 1st, with full-time benefits such as insurance and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronic experience.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Welding experience (plus).
• Plumbing experience (plus).
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong mechanical ability.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair production equipment daily as needed; troubleshoot during live production.
• Inspect and repair building HVAC and facilities daily as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be on call 24/7.
