Job summary

MB HAYNES Corporation is seeking an on-call Emergency Service Technician to repair and service fire, security, intercom systems and related low voltage equipment in the Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC areas. You will diagnose issues, follow wiring diagrams, and perform repairs using test equipment and a soldering iron.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on low voltage experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming low voltage equipment.
• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on low voltage systems at customer sites.
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and reference manuals/blueprints as needed.
• Require ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Overnight travel may be required.
