Overview

Presbyterian Homes & Services - Woodland Hill is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to join its team. The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for implementing and monitoring assigned life enrichment/leisure programs for residents, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.

SCHEDULE/HOURS: Will work with the Life Enrichment Director to determine hours needed each week. Mostly daytime hours. This is an on-call/as needed position.

REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Life Enrichment Assistant will report directly to the Life Enrichment Director.

ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY: Woodland Hill, located at 441 Stageline Road, Hudson, WI 54016, offers housing and services to older adults in the St. Croix River Valley, near Hudson Hospital & Clinic. It provides various senior living options, with amenities such as:

This community offers Assisted Living, Memory Care, and an onsite DaVita Dialysis Clinic.

Salary: $16.32 - $18.38/hour

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing activities that promote meaningful relationships and engagement for residents
  • Performing daily routines to meet psychosocial and activity needs
  • Creating diverse opportunities for recreation, social interaction, growth, and enjoyment
  • Participating in Chat Circles with residents and staff
  • Assisting residents with activities of their choice, group or individual
  • Taking residents outdoors or out into the community
  • Participating in outings and special events
  • Performing miscellaneous tasks such as shopping, errands, and correspondence assistance
  • Providing one-on-one interactions based on resident preferences
  • Transporting residents within the community
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled)
  • Class B license or willingness to obtain within six months
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and good rapport with residents, staff, families, and volunteers
  • Alignment with PHS's mission and philosophies
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
