Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Master Plumber license required. Minimum four years experience in a mechanical trade including plumbing, refrigeration or general machine work.
  • Regulatory knowledge including plumbing codes and safety standards is essential.
  • Ability to read blueprints and translate plans into install/repair work.
  • Experience with medical gas systems and backflow prevention is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise plumbing tasks across facility projects and maintenance.
  • Obtain plumbing permits and coordinate with inspectors.
  • Inspect and service natural gas, medical gases, water, air, waste disposal and HVAC systems.
  • Install, repair and maintain piping, fittings, fixtures and backflow devices.
  • Follow codes and safety procedures; maintain logs and records as required.
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to meet timelines.
