Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Plumber to perform preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems across facilities.

The role supports the Engineering and Technical Services function, focusing on safety, efficiency, and adherence to codes. A Journeyman plumbing certification and valid license are required, with certifications in Medical Gas and Backflow preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
• Journeyman plumbing certification required.
• Medical Gas and Backflow certifications preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 40 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas supply and distribution systems.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures per blueprints and codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition.
• Assist other staff or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to other staff for light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Perform general maintenance and building systems duties as directed.
• Respond to emergency situations and summon help as needed.
• Follow all policies including HSE requirements and incident reporting.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
